Rotate PDF: a practical guide

Updates the page rotation value relative to its existing rotation. Leave the pages field blank to rotate every page, or enter specific pages and ranges.

Steps to use this tool

Select a PDF.
Set the clockwise angle and optional page range.
Rotate, download and compare targeted and untouched pages.

Tested example — 19 October 2026

The sample rotates page 2 by 180 degrees while page 1 remains at zero degrees.

Selected sample: sample.pdf (2421 bytes, 2 pages).

Measured output: sample-rotated.pdf — 2439 bytes; 2 PDF pages.

Check the result

Compare a targeted page and an untargeted page with the source. Check whether mixed portrait and landscape pages still have their intended orientation.

Files and privacy

The public tool processes selected documents in your browser. It does not send document bytes to a conversion server. The page and its bundled libraries still download from this website. Keep the original, use an up-to-date browser and inspect your output before sharing it. See the privacy policy for hosting and support information.

If processing fails

Malformed page text such as 1oops is rejected. Use comma-separated numbers or ascending ranges, and do not enter a page that the PDF does not contain.
