Crop PDF

Trim the visible margins around all PDF pages.

    How this tool works

    Crop PDF: a practical guide

    Moves each page crop box inward by the margin you choose. The tool checks that the remaining width and height stay positive.

    Steps to use this tool

    1. Select a PDF.
    2. Enter the margin for each side.
    3. Crop and inspect visible bounds without treating them as secure removal.

    Tested example — 19 October 2026

    A 10-point margin changes the sample's 595-point page width to 575 points.

    Selected sample: sample.pdf (2421 bytes, 2 pages).

    Measured output: sample-cropped.pdf — 2481 bytes; 2 PDF pages.

    Sample settings:

    {
      "margin": 10
    }
    A 10-point margin changes the sample's 595-point page width to 575 points.
    Page 1 rendered from the actual automated sample PDF output; this is not a browser screenshot.

    Test environment: Node + native canvas + actual site-ui.js form integration in LinkeDOM Representative sample; inspect your own output.

    Check the result

    Compare the visible page dimensions and all four margins. Keep a copy of the uncropped source so you can recover content hidden by the new boundary.

    Files and privacy

    The public tool processes selected documents in your browser. It does not send document bytes to a conversion server. The page and its bundled libraries still download from this website. Keep the original, use an up-to-date browser and inspect your output before sharing it. See the privacy policy for hosting and support information.

    If processing fails

    A margin that would remove the whole page is rejected. Use Redact PDF for privacy-sensitive content because a crop box alone is not deletion.
