Word to PDF: a practical guide
Reads the actual text from a DOCX package and reflows it into new PDF pages with a bundled text font. Long paragraphs wrap and continue on new pages.
Steps to use this tool
- Select a DOCX document.
- Choose Word to PDF for text reflow.
- Open the PDF and proofread text and page breaks.

The sample PDF contains the actual DOCX phrase Actual source DOCX text.
Selected sample: source.docx (8503 bytes).
Measured output: source.pdf — 5884 bytes; 1 PDF pages.
Test environment: Node + native canvas + actual site-ui.js form integration in LinkeDOM Representative sample; inspect your own output.
Check the result
Search the output for a sentence that appears in the DOCX. Check where headings and long paragraphs break across pages because the Word print layout is not retained.
Files and privacy
The public tool processes selected documents in your browser. It does not send document bytes to a conversion server. The page and its bundled libraries still download from this website. Keep the original, use an up-to-date browser and inspect your output before sharing it. See the privacy policy for hosting and support information.
If processing fails
Rename-only changes from .doc to .docx do not create a supported Office package. Save an actual DOCX in a word processor, or export the original layout to PDF from that application.
