Extract Table Text

Export PDF text rows into a workbook for manual table review.

    How this tool works

Extract Table Text: a practical guide

Groups text objects by line position and exports a sheet per page. This uses the same real extraction engine as PDF to Excel.

    Steps to use this tool

    1. Select a PDF with text-based tables.
    2. Run Extract PDF Table Text.
    3. Inspect and correct workbook rows against the source table.

    Tested example — 19 October 2026

The sample XLSX includes the source value 300 from the table text.

    Selected sample: sample.pdf (2421 bytes, 2 pages).

    Measured output: sample.xlsx — 17024 bytes.

Test environment: Node + native canvas + actual site-ui.js form integration in LinkeDOM Representative sample; inspect your own output.

    Check the result

Open the workbook and compare a known row label and amount with the PDF. Verify column alignment before sorting rows or calculating totals.

    Files and privacy

The public tool processes selected documents in your browser. It does not send document bytes to a conversion server. The page and its bundled libraries still download from this website. Keep the original, use an up-to-date browser and inspect your output before sharing it. See the privacy policy for hosting and support information.

    If processing fails

A photographed table needs OCR or manual transcription first. If columns overlap after extraction, keep the source open while repairing those cells in a spreadsheet editor.

Check the local-processing claim in your browser’s Network panel.
