2. Document Files Processing & Auto-Deletion (Hybrid Architecture)

We prioritize your document privacy by employing a transparent hybrid processing architecture tailored to the technical requirements of each tool:

  • Client-Side Processing (Browser-Only): The majority of our document utilities (including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Reorder, Page Numbers, Page Extractor, Watermark, and Metadata Tools) execute directly inside your browser using client-side WebAssembly and JavaScript libraries. For these operations, your documents are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
  • Server-Side Processing (When Required): Specialized tools requiring high-powered compute engines (such as complex OCR text extraction, AI document analysis, and document conversions) securely transmit files over TLS-encrypted connections to our backend.
  • Automated 2-Hour Retention & Deletion: Any temporary files received on our backend for processing are held in isolated temporary storage and are automatically and permanently deleted by automated cleanup jobs within 2 hours of processing. We do not inspect, retain, or train AI models on your private documents.

3. Personal Data We Collect

If you create a guest account or upgrade to Pro, we collect:

  • Profile Information: Name and email address.
  • Billing Details: Payment tokens processed securely via Stripe or Razorpay. We do not store raw card numbers.
  • API Usage Quotas: Quota limits and logs to prevent platform misuse.

4. Third-Party Services & Cookies

We use third-party tools to optimize service delivery, process payments, and display ads:

  • Advertising: Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. You can opt out in your Google settings.
  • Gateways: Stripe and Razorpay manage secure subscription checkouts.
  • Analytics: Anonymous statistics of conversions and failures are collected to maintain uptime.
